Your Steam-Id: 15331713 5. Reason for ban: No Clue I am not sure why I am banned. When I try to connect to the server it says: "Disconnect: You are BANNED. Please check hellsgamers.com". I was just sitting in the street listening to people talk then I lost connection. Then I proceeded to try to rejoin, and this message keeps popping up. Nivek Posted February 29, 2012 Author Share Posted February 29, 2012 I think I know what has happened. I am at a university, and in the dorms we all use the same network, therefore have the same IP. My roommate just checked to see if he could join, and he can't so it is an IP ban. One of my other roommates was on earlier the server and was RDM'ing. Nivek Posted February 29, 2012 Author Share Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) About 9PM PST, I was able to login and play on the server. But then my roommate was still getting the banned message. As of just now, at 11:15pm PST, he can login and play, but I am getting the banned message now. It seems that the IP is messing with something, why else would this be happening to us? And my other roommate, the one who was RDM'ing hasn't tried logging on. Could this be gmod trying to prevent two IPs going on one server? My roommate and I have played on this server together many times before, with no problems. And many other servers. Thanks. Edit: As of right now, 1:26 AM PST, my roommate and I are able to login and play on the server This is really weird and inconsistent. Tack Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) so i have found your ip and it does have a ban on it from today, i removed your ip from the ban, but your roommate that did the mass rdm has some major explaining to do and his ban still stands he can find his ban here cleared up as ip was blocking them and are now in game, but this issue will come back if vinnie reconnects as it will add the ip again Edited February 29, 2012 by SuperSkreech Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
