Epic Vagina
So my current computer kinda sucks so im getting a new one. I was wonder what is a better graphics card, I want to be able to play BF3 and Shogun 2 on ultra with no problems. AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card OR AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card OR AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card OR a Nvidia Card, if this then which one would be able to run shogun 2 and BF3 really well. as well as how important the motherboard is for gaming computers (besides being able to fit more ram sticks) Also how much RAM would you recommend for a Computer that i want to run BF3 on ultra as well as Shogun 2 and other games. Any other advice on what a Gaming computer should have would be helpful. I have 1TB of RAM on the new computer, 16GB of DDR3 RAM. My motherboard is (3-Way SLI Support) Gigabyte X79-UD3 Intel X79 Chipset Quad Channel DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ UEFI DualBIOS, Dolby Home Theater 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, SATA-III RAID, 4 Gen3 PCIe X16, 2 PCIe X1 & 1 PCI I am getting this computer from Cyberpower, i have gotten 2 computers from them (my brother and I) and they have worked fine however my friend recently got one and claims it doesnt work, he isnt very good with computers and i havent really looked at it to see if he is just an idiot but are these Computers known for being faulty from anyone who has gotten one? RetiredTacos
You will not be playing BF3 on ULTRA on a sub 200$ video card. BF3 is one of the most demanding games on ultra settings, it will also require a powerful CPu to match. 16GB ram is useless for gaming but okay. Cyberpower is not bad at all, several people have purchased good systems from them.
enigma#
You can probably get away with a 570 ~ 590 (if you're an nVidia Fanboy) AMD variant: 6950, 6870 (ugh... I would stay away if you're running ultra...), 6970, or the new 79xx series. We're assuming single card set up here. This is an older thread but it may help xD http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/334588-33-6870-6950-battlefield-ultra
