Psychopath
Who is a better AD carry? Should I stick with Ashe, or save up and buy either Graves or Caitlyn?
enigma#
Graves v Caitlyn > Ashe in most situations Depends on your playstyle

LazaHorse
TL;DR: If you want an easy AD carry who can stomp on people, pick Graves or Kogmaw. If you want a bit of a challenge but an amazingly strong AD carry, go Sivir or Vayne. Here's my... entire tier list of relevant options for AD Carry. Graves and Sivir share the top spot. They both deal great AOE damage and also have amazing steroids/utility for team fights. Kogmaw and Vayne are 3 and 4 in that order. They both deal AMAZING late game damage thanks to their health percentage scaling abilities. Vayne is better at positioning than Kog, but Kog deals more overall damage more rapidly. Tristana and Corki take the 5th and 6th spots in that order based on their laning aggressiveness, amazing late game scaling, and mobility in team fights. Ashe and Caitlyn share the 7th spot for me because of their ability to win their lane and farm insanely efficiently. Thanks to Piltover and Volley AOE damage, the two can farm well without missing many creep while also zoning their opposing ad carry. Miss Fortune pulls in a very close 9th spot to Cait and Ashe. While she deals great early game damage and harass thanks to Impure Shots, her late game is just not as good as most AD Carries (her late game ult is pretty weak). Ezreal IMO comes in at 10th, though I've seen many great high elo players do well with Ezreal. The basis is that Ezreal's kit is NOT based on crits like most AD Carries are (Phantom Dancer usually not in his build), but instead based on his Mystic Shot. It's not targetable so you're very subject to the enemy team's positioning. He's ok... but not the best pick IMO. Finally, fuck AD Kennen, fuck AD Malzahar, and fuck AD Carry Teemo. They do not count. Fuck em... AD Sona beats em all anyway. Edited March 2, 2012 by LazaHorse

I agree with this mostly. you forgot AD twisted fate though he would rank top5 for me
LazaHorse
AD TF is ok... but in the same way that I would never play AD Kennen, I would never CHOOSE to play AD TF. He is MUCH MORE helpful to a team when he is AP mid and can thus gank both top and bottom with his ult. AP TF is multiple magnitudes of 10 times more effective than AD TF in both midgame as well as late game team fight phase. A word on Ashe: Ashe would be a low tier AD carry due to her low ratios, lack of mobility, and lack of steroid... except for one thing. ENCHANCTED MOTHER CRYSTAL FUCKIN ARROW!!! Her ult is by far the most game changing ult on ANY AD Carry (with Ezreal's and Vayne's coming in as distant seconds). I'll be uploading a game I played last night as Ashe in middle, and my cross-map ults single-handedly won the game (IMO). That ult alone bumps her up to (as I said in my tier list) to at least 7 (perhaps higher... I'm not a fan of Tristana). Her utility in team fights of slowing and kiting the enemy assassins and AD Carries makes her a great late game champ despite her lack of amazing scaling/steroids. She's a great pick if you aren't too good at positioning and farming just yet.
enigma#
Since we're talking about all the carries: Graves - extremely viable and powerful champ personal experience with him, not alot of good graves out there Sivir - heavily dependent on farm, her spell shield makes it great to lane - (antiKarthus ) personal experence with her, gets hit on alot, more than most of the ladies in league Kogmaw - wonderful hp shredding, great damage late game, easy kill though (like any carry) person experience with him, gets focused (like Sivir) more often, not many good escape mechanisms (just on, his slow). awesome chaser if built properly Tristana - takes ALOT of effort to play her properly (I play her extremely aggressive), her slow is a joke. Needs decent farm/kills like sivir and is meant more for DPS than anything. Squishy >.< AP Tristana is fun too xD Corki - similar to trist, I've played him a few times and against him alot. Caitlyn - great range (outranges Tristana for a few levels), I like the proc she has (adds dmg). decent escapes but like all carries, still dependent on farm Ashe - IMO, she's a good initiator/kitor, otherwise useless Miss Fortune - meh not much play with her. Her abilities proc nicely but other than that, no escapes? Her ult is annoying esp when shot in front of a tower xD. Ez - harder to play in a sense of laning, but skillshots EVERYWHERE TF - haven't seen alot of decent ones around lately (perhaps higher... I'm not a fan of Tristana). That's cuz you don't know how to play her
