Getting my mojo back WOP caseys config and thoughts on css

I recently started actually playing CSS again after giving it a serious break due to the wife making me get my CCNA. So I literally had to go through the basics of getting bad-ok-good again.

 

I figured while it's still fresh I'd post my configuration and thoughts on it. Some of this is lifted from wop, which is pretty damn basic.

 

I play at 1900x1200 on a 24" soyo. My system is in my sig. I use a Logitech MX518 at 1600Dpi and windows sensitivity is at 4. CSS sensitivity is at 3.6. This is different for everyone. Just what I use. I used to use a Razor Death Adder but it seems less responsive. Maybe I broke it don't know.

 

My favorite weapon is a p90. Not technically difficult to use. I use it defensively as a CT. Its like the Pyro on TF2. If Im guarding somewhere I can spray a bunch of shots and its the same as throwing a warning flashbang. keeps people from rushing. Other than that unless youre good with weapon switching and deagle you probably shouldnt be using it. Use an M4 and get used to not using the silencer. When playing T its best to always use an AK. AKs have great spraying ability and great long range. Definitely a best of both worlds weapon.

 

 

My left hands mested up so I use a unusual keyboard style. This was taught to me by a Tournament and Esports professional with 9 fingers named Opivy

Weapon 4 = Mouse wheel down

Reload = Mouse 5

Glock Four Round burst

 

ACE just reminded me, theres a way to get more out of a glock on T. I prefer armor and glock vs deagle in scrims sometimes. Theres two ways to do it. The first is to bounce your fingers across your fire and special funtion keys. Causing it to fire 4 instead of 3 shots. This enables a one hit headshot kill with glocks. This takes a lot of practice to get just right, same as bunnyhopping. the other way is the script. The script is not as good and I need to get permission before I post it.

cool i guess? But p90 thats the weapon i use when im failing in scrims and i need a few kills to lose bottom frag. Idk how you did all that shit but ill just list mine manually. My comps a dell xps 1gig ram video card graphics card or w.e is an nvidia gefore 7300 LE.. i know my comp sucks thats why i play at 800x600 with all details low so i get like 20 more fps then if i played on the next highest one. My monitor is like a 20in. I play with the logitech mx400

You have several commands duplicated throughout, but have different settings.

Get off the failboat.

 

BTW. I don't know how your cs runs, but you have your FPS capped at 101...not that your eyes can even see 101 frames per second, you might up that.

 

I use default config, all graphics maxed, on 1600x1080?.

With my Geforce POS 8600GT, I get 35-100 fps....

On the fps it's a little complicated but capping your fps has to with keeping FPS at a smooth rate. In your case I would imagine you would cap it at 60fps, but I'm not an expert on that.

honestly, you want to cap your FPS at a level that it rarely goes below, if you can run a steady 60 fps then cap it at that... BUT you need to set your cl_updaterate to the same as your max fps, it will seriously help your reg on the servers. Keep the cl_cmdrate set to 100 but you want to update at the same rate that your system is running at to maximixe registration and minimize choke.
