So when im playing gmod perp or any other gmod server it randomly freezes and then goes to a black screen. I can still move and hear people but i cant see myself so i have to exit game and come back in. Ive upated everything,searched for fixes and got nothing. Please help me with this. Darkwing Duck Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Pandemicc, my only thought because of the sudden change is that your GPU is overheating; thus having your graphics drivers crash. I would give your computer a good de-dusting. Make sure the GPU heatsink and fan is not ridden with dust. On top of that also try a clean install of your graphics drivers.
