Tommo
Hello forum, for my technology exam project i am creating this device; It will be a switch, which will turn of an electrical device when a sensor sees a certain colour (Like red). Since i'm not a senior or whatever the fuck you call it, i don't have electrical lessons invovling PLC. But i teacher suggested to me that i should use PLC and either try and learn it myself (in 4weeks) or ask senior for help. I'd much rather try and learn it myself and this is where i need some help/advice. Is it possible for a complete rookie to learn PLC without any general help? Do any of you guys know a good PLC simulator? And do you know any sites/books which could give me enough information to construct my device? Zekk
Plc basics took me about an hour to learn, it's learning the code that will take time. We had a wysiwyg program so it helped with cut ing down on code knowledge. Sadly I haven't messed with them for over 5 years now.
