The board you picked is dual channel (all amd boards are) and you pick tri channel ram... The ram will work but you will be having the third stick running in single channel and this will cause a decrease in memory performance. Most people who do this cant get the ram past 1333 (or stable at all). Also why spend 40 bucks more on ram when most pcs don't even get close to 8 gb Facepalming harder then chris brown Also devastator don't be a follower Do mouses build. 2500k is so much better then the 965. the only amd that really gets close to it is the fx.
