So I figured most of you guys are out of the house and done with college or are in college. So basically, I am about to graduate with my AA in the area where I graduate HS. I basically will have the summer to do anything and most likely will go to UCF for the fall semester.

I personally need some suggestions for the summer? I am undecided if I want to move to Orlando for the summer and live with a friend and find a job? Or stay here and do nothing all summer.

All suggestions would be awesome. :)

If it comes to Florida, UM and FSU ALL THE WAY SONN. But if it comes to country wide Oregon Ducks. But as for your question, really depends where you live, Cause if you live in South Florida, partying is where its at, but otherwise I'd say go to Orlando and chill with your friends and make some mullah.

Edit:

Orlando is ok, but I haven't heard of many parties going on there. Come down to Miami, where all the parties are at.

Just saw you live in Miami Beach :o! Lol.

I know a ton about colleges bran...

IDK why my age plays any factor in my knowledge about college but if anything it would benefit me. Also, i live 20 minutes from UCR and have toured it 2 times and been to 3 of there water polo games.

The surrounding area is hot, dry, and barren. The city is ghetto and full if rednecks, the campus isnt nice & the halls are small and very old. I would say its the worst UC by far.

idk anything about any american school but what I can tell you is I have been to a university with old ugly buildings and a lot of trafic around the school for 2 years. It's in the capital, where theres the most criminality in the entire country. I am in a super new fancy good looking uni now, right next to a shopping street, in one of the most fancy cities(hi, rich people) in the country. (hello, I'm still a girl)

I fucking hate it in my new school the people fucking suck the teachers fucking suck everything fucking sucks. Trust me, it really does I fucking hate it so much.

I was the happiest girl in the world in my old uni.

TL;DR surroundings and buildings and whatnot, really don't mean anything..

only go to fsu if youre poor, go to someone where good if youre not. Also you don't need to pay for your undergrad anywhere you go, unless you go to like harvard.

Uh, yes you do have to pay. I went to Yale, and UPenn, but many of my friends attended colleges like Rutgers and they had to pay. In California most colleges have tuition.

Yeah i've been to USC before, i know it's in a terrible location- the fast food joints have a pully system to collect your money o.O but the building itself is great (i love brick) & yeah i would much rather go to SLO then UCR though..,even though I will not be allowed to apply to any CSUs next year along with anyone from class of '13

If you are not lazy, you can get grants and scholarships very easily and fast. They usually will get you around 1500-8000 so as I said, you don't have to pay for undergrad unless you go to somewhere like harvard. Also, all colleges have tuition.

Not really, look at Cooper Union in NYC. Some grants and scholarships can only be given to you if you are poor, I got a scholarship to Yale because of tennis. So pretty much if you are an average student and aren't good at any sports, you have to pay tuition.

You really do not know what you are talking about with this subject. Millions of dollars every year are set aside by fortune500 companies and nonprofit organizations for scholarships. Why they do this you may ask? Well mostly for tax cuts. A lot of this money goes unclaimed because people do not try to get it. I payed for my entire undergrad at MIT this way. Picture shows the scholarships available to my brother who is finding some right now, I blocked out the website as to not wanting to advertise.

I don't understand. Are people just stupid? You state that you're most likely going to UCF in the Fall, yet people still are suggesting schools you should go to when it's far too late to apply.

Also don't assume that most of the people are out of the house or in college, we have fa****s like Prius who are mouthbreathers that will live in the basement for the rest of their lives.

I'd suggest getting a job before anything else. Your first semester don't look too hard for a job, you want to be familiar with you class schedule, the campus in general, and meeting people before you cross out 20 hours a week for work. It's very important to know what the university as a whole expects from its students.

That said, come to Aggieland.

Don't those scholarships have certain requirements?
