Plastered
http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/retail-product.jsp?poid=452659 ^^ link to the page showing the specs of my laptop. I have been getting terrible FPS in game on CSS around 15-24. Is this really the problem or is the graphics card and processor not my issue? Thanks (:

3V0Lu710N
I know my laptop isnt made for gaming but surely theres something i can do to improve it without totally revamping it Here's a config i uploaded for you - http://www.mediafire.com/?k0z404alzczl7iz it will increase your frames and it will make css look like minecraft and uh right click css on steam library, properties, set launch options and there add -dxlevel 81 run css to test fps,play... next time you run css remove the -dxlevel 81 and leave the launch options empty

silentdeath631
http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/retail-product.jsp?poid=452659^^ link to the page showing the specs of my laptop. I have been getting terrible FPS in game on CSS around 15-24. Is this really the problem or is the graphics card and processor not my issue? Thanks (: I mean for one. I would suggest not playing on a laptop unless it was made for gaming. Also, saying that I wouldn't spend money on an Alienware. So actually lol I would buy a cheaper computer to play CSS or build a better computer so you can play CSS at max fps. (which isn't really that hard) Source engine was made for people with lower end computers. Thus why most valve games don't look amazing. Plastered
If you wanna build me an relatively reasonable setup. Mainly just a tower. I'd appreciate it! Try to keep around $600?
GreenRanger
Granted, this isn't the bulk of the problem, you're only running a dual-core. You still have ddr2 ram and not much of it. You should just build a new rig!
Plastered
16 years old making $8.50 & getting me a new comp isnt in the agenda for my parents. But if someone could build a new tower only i can get the rest rather cheap (my mom works for an electronics company)
