darth irule
This is my Teemo build. Starting Items: 1X Dagger 1X Health Pot Core Items: 1X Malady 1X Berserker's Greaves 1X Phanton Dancer 1X Frozen Mallet End Game: 1X Blood Razor 1X Guinsoo's Rageblade All dem elixers This build gives teemo really good DPS. His attack speed and damage over time (thanks to the Malady and his poison passive) allows him to bring down enemies quickly. And with the Blood Razor he is able to last longer and recover faster after fights. The Frozen Mallet is a must for Teemo. It slows down the enemies with your basic attacks AND your shrooms. When I play teemo I always go bot. This build also allows him to bring down towers really fast. If you want to focus more on pushing and back dooring then be sure to get the extra tower damage masteries. Now I am not that big of a Rune person. I only have 3 rune pages. (AP, Jungle, and Crit) When I play Teemo I use my Crit page. I have: 9X Great Mark of Malice, 9X Greater Seal of Might, 9X Greater Glyph of Malice, 2X Greater Quintessence of Malice and 1X Greater Quintessence of Furor. LazaHorse
Starting Items: 1X Dagger 1X Health Pot Sorry but I saw that and was immediately dissuaded from reading on. Consider a different starting item. Attack speed is one of the least efficient stats in the game (amount of benefit vs. gold spent) and there is very little difference between a .67 AS teemo and a .75 AS teemo. Boots + Potions, Dorans Shield/Blade, or Cloth + Potions are all better choices.
enigma#
personally I'd go with doran's blade if you're laning with someone (you can get +6% LS to start if you get the masteries with it) Doran's shield if you're solo and/or want to play passive Boots + hpots for mid against pesky mids (anivia -.- or brand >.<) I do believe Laz is correct, the gains from choosing a dagger isn't as high as playing smart, last hitting only + harassing with your q AS is nice on teemo but doesn't need to be out the anus for it to be useful. Personally AGAINST the use of guisoo's since you'd have to be constantly engaging to get the AP. I'd go with something defensive in a heavy HP team or Nashor's tooth. Flat AP and AS. >.< Overall it's a good on-hit build for teemo
I Love Lamp
Instead of Guinsoo's, maybe a Wit's End. But that's just me. Also, yeah, the Dagger thing. Hell, even a Doran's Ring might be better to boost poison damage and give you regen to spam Blinding Shot more. In addition, crit with almost no extra AD is...meh. No ArP on the build and even your crits do next to nothing.

Chick Magnet
wriggle's so late and wit's end at the end? oh god why. DBlade>Bgreaves>Malady/Wriggle's>Wit's End>Bloodrazor>Frozen Mallet>Black Cleaver (if game goes long enough) You need the mallet to refresh your poison early on and for survivability. Wriggle's you get late so you don't have to waste time posting mushrooms when you can be ganking and also great life steal for the price. The mallet does help refresh your poison because they are slowed and you can get those extra auto-attacks in that you wouldn't otherwise. And it's more efficient to have someone else get red buff. And I still disagree about Wriggle's.

You're job is teemo is to provide map coverage and a CC to the AD carry in team fights (blind) (or be a free ward huehueuhueuheuhe). You're not meant to go around and rape people's faces off because thats not what teemo does. he pokes and prods and is generally a very annoying champion. you have his role all wrong and i have a feeling i do too. if you want some survivability/slow proc get a phage early and just sit on it until late game. the extra health/guaranteed slow chance isn't worth the 1935 gold upgrading it early game when you can get a malady which is AP+AS+MR Shred or a Wit's end which is 42 free magic damage + MR + AS. LazaHorse
Teemo's role is that of an anti-bruiser because his mobility, his shroom, and his blind make it very difficult for bruiser top-solos to beat his harass in lane. Late game he becomes a strong tanky-DPS with ranged CC through frozen mallet and MASSIVE damage over time in a team fight. Though each hit may not be noticeable, eventually your team will have lost thousands of HP to his poison, his Bloodrazor, and his physical damage. This is almost copied item for item from TheRainMan's Teemo guide as he is the go-to-guy for Teemo. It is his top solo marque champ, and he is more-or-less the only competitive Teemo player around. Boots + Potions or Cloth + Potions 1/2 Dorans Blades Wriggle's Lanter, Phage, and Boots 2 (Mercury's Treads or Ninja Tabi) [in that order] Frozen Mallet (Amazing utility on ranged champions with movement speed like Teemo, makes it very hard to get away) Bloodrazor (Teemo becomes a tank shredder after this purchase. He is one of only 2/3 champions I would still recommend BR on) Guardian Angel (With his slows, move quick, and GA/Mallet tankiness Teemo becomes almost unkillable at this point) Final items to consider: Wit's End, Black Cleaver, Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer, Quicksilver Sash, Infinity Edge, Atma's Impaler Skill order: EQEWEREWEWRWQWQRQQ (i.e. R > E > W > Q) Most important thing about Teemo is having map presence specifically around Dragon/Baron. Always keep one in supply so that you can lay it at your feet during team fights. VeN
if you go 18-1 with teemo your opponents suck balls. So wrong.... Teemo is an anti carry and as laz said also an anti bruiser. After the recent bug fixes his damage went high enough that he provides his team not just map awareness but decent early, mid to late game damage. If played correctly he can shut down hard late game carry's like ashe or tryndamere and if fed he can do so much more. And IMO a fed teemo is well played teemo. Edited May 17, 2012 by VeN
