Codename Eagle is a computer game developed by Stockholm-based studio Refraction Games and was released in November 1999. Refraction Games later merged with EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and developed Battlefield 1942.

 

The game is set in an alternate timeline, centered around events in Russia in 1917. World War I has not happened, Germany has not yet become involved with the other world powers, and instead Russia's expanding war machine threatens to throw the continent into a bloody war. The other European powers are allied against the invasion. You take control of "Red", an operative of the secret organization "Shadow Command". The goal is to uncover the Tsar's plans for Europe, using whatever means to demolish the Russian war machine from within.

 

 

 

How To Install&Connect

 

Very simple install follow the following steps below.

1. Go to the Codename Eagle website and install the unoffical demo. [ http://codenameeagle.net/demo/ ]
2. After getting the 57mb game demo, move on to tools and download the CE launcher. [ http://codenameeagle.net/tools/ ]
3. When both are downloaded you will have to install the game, then depending on your OS you will have to reroute the location.txt in CE Launcher found within your Program Files.
4. Now after rerouting you simply go to the servers page and click on the IP to join. [ http://codenameeagle.net/servers/ ]
5. If you recieve and error you didn't route your Location.txt correctly to your "Codename Eagle Multiplayer Demo". If you need help move to the Codename Eagle channel and ask for help.
