So I've gone home from school really early these past two days. My stomach was cramping up, on the crapper for a while, and extreme pain. So I went to the doctor and he said my appendix might burst because their is a possibility my appendix might be inflamed. So I had to go get blood drawn to see how high/low my white blood cell count was and all was normal. So I'm sitting here miserable xD . It hurts like fuck to sit up so no pc :( .

I'm using that as a last resort because it could hurt me more :/ .

How could it hurt you more? I mean, if it's been a while since you've had a bowel movement, it would be a good idea. Or at the very least, tell your doctor.

I don't get why they don't just get let you go to the hospital and get it removed. How long do you have to wait? since you said it might explode shit might be serious. idk how it goes in the usa obviously but I'm honestly shocked.. In belgium your appendix would have already been removed. they'd rather remove it straight away, finding an uninfected appendix while operating you, than waiting and maybe have it explode.. I mean, it's not as if your appendix is of importance anyways.. you don't really need it.

yeahhh americuuuhhh!

Kimzy. You forgot we live in America.

I had this same problem a year back. It took them a couple weeks to remove and the doctor said if I would of waited another day it would exploded. I face palmed since I was wanting it out the day they told. Plus, it was a military hospital. So I would tell your doctor to remove it now.

Good luck and hope you feel better. :)

Well I got blood work back so they shouldn't need to. They said it could just be a viral stomach infection. But if I did get my appendix removed it would be a in one day out the other.

you guys get fucked up the butt and I feel for all of you.

when an operation or whatnot is needed for your health(so not getting a boob job done, but like, getting your appendix removed etc.), you'll get most, if not all of it, payed back in Belgium..

It sucks. Most of the american population is brainwashed into thinking that social healthcare is bad. But it's the complete opposite. Having a healthy population means having a better quality of life.

Boob reductions can be good for your health!

First off. You're 16, you're not paying for shit, sorry to say. Having a part time job doesn't count.

Also, your tune would change in a heartbeat if you ended up being the one that needed the health care.

Ever heard of the expression "sharing is caring"? I don't mind paying for someone else's health, even if they may be an asshole or a dick. In the long run kindness will be rewarded, even if it might not be right away. What's the point of living a good life if someone else isn't?

Their was a thing called donating, remember? I never was forced into paying taxes for someones health problem. Also please tell me how people payed for their health insurance back in the 50-90s? I can answer that, with their OWN insurance and their OWN money. Also i an still a citizen when i am 16 so i can have a say over my opinion. Don't tell me my opinion is invalid. Im basically going of personal experience.

But you don't HAVE to share. I choose not to. But the government decides i have no right of speech.

well yes and in some cases I'm sure you would even get those paid back here :P Basically, as long as you can "prove" your health suffers from whatever you want and do not have, or want to get rid of, it's paid back :P

I'm not saying your opinion is invalid, however, you do realize that once you're 18, you are no longer covered under your parents insurance policy and must get your own, correct?

I'm not trying to be a dick, I just really irritated when people use the "well why should I pay for someone else." argument.
