Minecraft on Xbox

I want to know all of your opinions of Minecraft on Xbox. I know they're using the 1.6 beta version, (correct me if I'm wrong) but I think it is really amazing! :D Probably because it runs so smoothly unlike on my PC.. It just seems natural since I'm using a controller and not a keyboard and mouse.

The only complaints I have are that you do not spawn near your bed/last saved location. I wish the updates would come faster instead of all at once in the middle of the summer, apparently. Besides that, just small things here and there that I don't remember well enough to put here. :P

Anyway, I'm pretty happy they moved MC to Xbox. You don't get servers to choose from, but I like being able to join with friends and build in their game.

I recommend buying it if you don't have MC at all and want it. :) If you have it on PC, get it anyway!

Its the same thing as having CSS or TF2 on console. Its a good game, a great game even. People will spend hours on it until they become the best. But they can't ever compare to PC gaming. Mods, constant updates and changes; things that console gamers can only wish for.

I think the best thing about this is that you can have a world with up to 8 friends lol. PC will always be the best with one of the top selling games in the world. You can play xbox and he will most probably work on it. But its nothing compared to the PC

Never played it on xbox, but I saw some videos and youtube, and here are some things I can say.

- It looks like some CARE has actually gone into it, the original minecraft would never tell you how to start out your game, or what to do etc.

- Some people say it has better frames, but anybody with a decent PC can run it with highest settings just fine

- xbox is pre-patch, so it's not at the latest version yet

Also just wanna mention that notch actually didn't work on the xbox version :o

Good point, Mark. :P

I think it's just that I'm not used to it playing smoothly as my PC isn't that great.. And I feel more comfortable playing survival on Xbox for some reason. Like I said, maybe it's just the controller I like using. :P I don't really use mods much, so i don't consider it.

yeah it doesn't which limits your resources for a big project

It's big enough. :P

From what I've been hearing, they will be adding Kinect support for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 sooner or later. 20-inch biceps while searching for diamonds? Sure, why not.
