What Phone should I get?

Recommended Posts

So my dad just got his droid this week and my family is switching from Sprint to Verizon. This means I can get a smartphone and toss away my cheap phone. So the phones I have been looking at are the Droid and the Iphone. Which one should I get? Or is there a better phone then these two? Leave a reply below.

iphone 4 S or the razr Maxx are your best bet if you have the $$$ for one

Well my parents are paying for it so I have no clue how much the razor Maxx costs, but I know they would pay for an iPhone 4s.

SPECULATION AND CONJECTURE!

Personally, I couldn't condone anyone buying an iPhone, but it depends a lot on what you're going to use it for. It's not enough phone for me, so I went with the Galaxy Nexus.

this.

gtfo iphones. allow me to redirect you to this thread. He has a part 5 too, but you only need to watch 2 videos. The phone he has is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. If you don't want the Galaxy Nexus, get the Samsung Galaxy SIII, that phone has 2GB's of ram and is cheaper than the iphone 4shit

And before anyone even starts, Palm had an OS based around touch before Apple did.

You won't get 4G from any iPhone anytime soon.

If AT&T didn't have the iPhone, they wouldnt be anywhere right now.

It really is up to the user. Both phones have their advantages. In January of this year, the IOS app store had 550,000 apps whereas the Android Market/Google play had 400,000 apps. Not to mention this. Now, with Android you will get the ability to customize more on your phone, but most of that is possible through jailbreaking your iphone. 4G is something that the iPhone doesn't have yet, but from what ive seen, 4G isn't anything to boast about; Most of the time 4G is only available in major cities or the outlying towns (tested with a galaxy nexus S III).

Now you might be thinking, "Ohh, Android owns 58% of the market share, they're obviously better"; The thing is, Android is the combination of hundreds of different phones, whereas there are only 5 different iphones. Another thing i'd like to bring up is battery life. You can't think that slapping a 4.5" display with an A9 processor won't affect your battery life... Even if with the better hardware (S III to iPhone), the speed differences in opening a webpage, multitasking, making a call, or texting will be negligible.

All in all, they are both great phones. It really does just come down to what you really want

I know that this is an extremely biased post: Incoming flame storm.

Just think, the computer that I put in my pocket is more powerful than the laptop I turn on from time to time. It's a hell of a thing.

What phone do you have? All that stuff I read from soccer crazy's post made me forget.
