Nevodka Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 You type record name in console, name being whatever you would like to name your demo. Once you're doing recording, just type stop in console. The file is recorded as a .dem file and you can find it in your steamapps/username/garrysmod/gmod folder. If you don't know what console is, just go to keyboard options, advanced, enable developer's console. Ethan Mars Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 If you want to record as in "reporting a troublemaker", do what Nevodka says. or If you wanna record as in "having fun with friends and uploading it to a site like Youtube", I suggest you use FRAPS or you could do what Nevodka says and try to find a way to make it uploadable.
