fdh
If you ever find yourself at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, never ever use their payphones to call to the U.S. The slimy bastards that own these payphones are a part of BBG Communications. It is based out of San Ysidro, California and partners with various telecoms, hotels, and airports. After doing some research, they have a Better Business Bureau rating of "F" (the worst you can have) for number of customer complaints, failure to respond to complaints filed against business, number of complaints filed against business that were not resolved, number of serious complaints filed against business. They'll also reduce your charges if you call and bitch if you agree to not file an official complaint. The reason I looked into this was...I called home for all of 9-10 minutes. I got stuck with a 15 euro connection fee + 4.20 euros/min fee. Grand total of $79 on my statement. Once I finish law school they'll have a class action shoved so far up their ass they'll shit out their nose. Its people like these who are gonna make me change my mind about what kind of law I'll practice and just start chasing ambulances and do tort cases ftw. :dual: /rant over.
