They made it like that on purpose. I think this game may be fun, I played about 2 hours of it today. From what I've played so far, you could take away the massive multiplayer and leave single player and nothing will be removed but seeing random people in the streets. Cookie Posted June 19, 2012 Share Posted June 19, 2012 so what occurs in this game? Basically a marketing scheme for fox to make a shitload of money. You start out being able to pick a character (peter, lois, stewie, or chris. Meg is not able to be chosen, and you have to pay real money to be brian.) After picking which character you are informed you actually cannot be these characters but use that character as a class (You now can pick, fat husband, wife, kid, baby(forget what the stewie class is called). Then you walk around the city of quahog (only suburb and downtown are unlocked as this is a beta) going to actual characters from the show and talking to them and they ask you they need something, you then follow the map (which is broken and is flipped around) and get what ever object then bring it back for experience and money, which can be used at goldmans store to buy upgrades for fighting or clothing. Which of course you can spend real money on 'clams' (the currency they chose). Fighting is pretty poor and rare, as for peter's class you can button mash 2 & 3 and it will defeat the enemy while not letting them attack you at all. I played for 3 hours today, leveled up 7 times and fought 3 times. You do see random people of different classes walking in the street, but you do not communicate with them other than pms or a global chat.
