InstantNoodles
So im moving soon and needed to work on the front lawn. While working I finally noticed after like 6 years some weird flowers growing on the front. It feels like plastic and rubber, but the petals can be broken and has a wet inside. It's been alive for decades already with little water. The only water it gets is when it rains and that doesnt happen often. I know this things alive because its been actually spreading. Im now finding it in places i don't usually see it. Does anyone know what it is and can send a wiki link? Also there's some of these flowers that are kinda fuzzy and dark green. InstantNoodles
It has no smell on the outside, but when one of the petals are broken, smells kinda..... idk Aloe?
60Seconds
I don't think it's Aloe, I have Aloe plants in my place, they look like cactuses
ExGBrian
My mom said its kindave like a Aloe. Shes a landscape designer so she knows about lots of this stuff. Its one of those plants where you can get syrup and stuff from it. Like a Blue Agave plant
InstantNoodles
I don't think its a aloe. It shares no characteristic with aloe plants. It doesn't have hollow leaves or spiky leaves, and this plant has a visible stem connecting the flowers to each other.

InstantNoodles
Yea Cliff thxs for the PM. Looks like they are Sempervivum. They look kinda closer to the Hen and chicks though. Shares the characteristics. Branching flowers connecting other flowers together. Chances are one of them is the main body. What im guessing is that these are cultivated into this small shape and texture by the previous owners. Its a nice looking flower though. Pretty in a way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hen_and_chicks

InstantNoodles
burn it with fire, Don't think fire can kill this shit. Shot the petal with a BB Sniper Rifle, dented it and bounced off. The texture of the skin feels like it wont be flammable. But its spreading like mad, its in the backyard now.
