That1bacon
I think they keep saying the server data box is having trouble, and they have been working on it for about two weeks. It'll be fixed, eventually

gameacid13
A few steps you can do that worked for me is(in random order): 1. verify your game cache 2. restart your computer 3. go into the map in singleplayer then join HG perp from single player 4. play CSS for a few min. Hope that helps. I works for me Edited June 26, 2012 by gameacid13
Drastik
none of that really matters when you cant ping the ip
enigma#
none of that really matters when you cant ping the ip You can still connect to machines (servers or client boxes) even if they don't accept pings. ICMP requests can be manually blocked so that when you attempt to ping the IP address, it will drop your requests rather than acknowledge them. Unfortunately people mistaken 'being able to ping an IP address' for being 'alive' on the network, there are plenty of other ways to determine whether a node is active or not. Ping is just a common one.
