Proof: http://raineyweb.com/misc/css/cat.dem 6. Comments: I have to admit, at first I didn't agree with TheThe The Rolling Stone (thethe), but I was randomly spectating him tonight in the server, and I noticed some strange behaviour, so I started recording him. Full report: Please enable sv_cheats, and set r_drawothermodels to 2 to understand what I mean below: At tick 0, he sees someone below, and tracks him, and jumps, but it's a teammate. At tick 500, he looks through the fence and wall at a group of Ts, then follows one out and prescopes in but misses. At tick 900, he prescopes the guy on the roof who he saw either before he died (as he looks up at the window at tick 1550), or after he spawned right next to the garage. At tick 3850, he tracks the guy coming down the alleyway, but doesn't kill him, because that would make him too obvious. At tick 6300, he looks at the guy crouching, and lines him up before he can actually see him. Compare r_drawothermodels 1 vs 2 here. At tick 7000, he follows his teammate along the alleyway without being able to see him. At tick 7800, he looks at the same guy crouching at the end of the alleyway, and lines him up before being able to see him. At tick 10400, he takes note of the guy behind the upper building, and he looks to see if he's moved at tick 17000. At tick 12450, he takes note of the guys on the roof, and then goes up the ladder to try to attack them. At tick 13300, he sees a guy on the roof and raises his view slightly before remembering that would give away his hack, but he doubles back and kills him. At tick 14200, he observes the confrontation between a CT and T, then lines the T up and kills him. At tick 21900, he looks directly at a T through a wall, and follows him to the window. At tick 25200, he looks through the wall of the room he's in, and the wall of the Crackhouse, at a T, and proceeds to get a better vantage point. At tick 30350, he pre-aims at a target through several walls Thanks for watching, - DevLuke
Nevodka
Here is my view on this demo in regards to your tick marks. 0-He is checking the street below as this is a common place where T's funnel out through the doorway, he is not tracking anyone. 500-He is checking the window that gives a view from the front door to the stairs as this is common place where T's enter and exit via the stairs and the front door. He sees one terrorist in the corner of the window and moves to the left of the window to snipe him as he exits the house. 900-There is no roof kill in this tick, he just shoots somebody in plain sight after his respawn. However, at tick 1550, you can evidently see him looking up at the window and MISSING another T to his right that ends up killing him. With drawothermodels, you may conclude that with a wallhack one might have seen this player, but you could still attribute this to "throwing" his game to avoid suspicion. 3850-Yet again he did not "track" any players, he simply checked the alleyway quickly before returning to his sniping position, as T's regularly run through there and catch you off guard. He simply moved back at an unlucky time and just missed the T about to come through. 6300-He did not aim at the guy crouching before visibly seeing him, as you can see at this tick he examines the fact that his teammate is shooting at the end of the alleyway, and then moves slightly to the left where you can see the right shoulder of the enemy. Then he moves back quickly to avoid any fire, aims where he had seen the shoulder and then goes in for the shot. 7000-At this point I think you are looking way too much into this, again he simply checks the alleyway, sees a teammate at the end and returns to his sniping position. 7800-Sound is the key factor here, and the kill icons as well. You can see that the terrorist had just killed a CT, and you can hear the gunshots and the death sound directly left of his position. This is the indicator that there is a terrorist at the end of the alleyway. 10400-This is a simple check to see if any terrorists are on that building. However, as you can see directly after this tick, he again misses an obvious target in the window that would have been seen had he had wallhacks. 12450-He pokes out the doorway and checks in an obvious spot, the spawn window, and gets a kill. Seeing no other terrorists are on this side of the building, he goes up the ladder and checks the next obvious spot, the roof. 13300-Sound again. As he runs into the alleyway you can hear the silenced m4 shots hitting right behind him, clearly giving away the attacker above. He either had a slow reaction to this or wanted to get out of the sights of the player above him before turning around to fire. 14200-An incoming grenade catches his eye, and as he pokes out to view what's going on you can see the terrorist standing there after having killed his teammate. He pokes back out to shoot and isn't even aiming in the correct position as the terrorist moved places, but can still move his scope in time to get the kill. 21900-Frankly this is just one of those things that happen by coincidence. His scope is head level for obvious reasons as he intended on aiming at the window as he poked out, but he was too far to the right. The fact that there was another player there is just coincidental, and it is clear that he was not intending on killing this player and rather the one standing blatantly in the window. 25200-He stands in a spot that is hard see for a good sniping position, and aims through the window because this is the most likely area a terrorist would be. He then checks the doorway for a bit to make sure he's not going to be shot while his back is turned, then goes back to his original position and sees a terrorist. After this I believe he is simply bracing for a grenade or just went afk for a few seconds. Either way, him standing there would not reveal anything as he was simply standing still, not aiming through the wall. 30350-This again is just a lucky lineup but the demo abruptly ends and we cannot see the actual kill. However, it is clear he was just getting ready to aim through the window, the most common area to aim from that position. Now, i've put plenty effort into replying to your ticks for a reason; this player is not only legitimate, but also you're looking into this demo way too much. He checks common areas, he uses his sound, and none of the shots in this demo were at all sketchy. I want you to review your own demo again and read what I wrote, because this is just your average player. Not banned.
