Cave Johnson
I wanna try and do somethign original as warden, dont know if its been done before. Warden orders: All ct's go to kitchen, make sandwich. I as warden will release the t's as I have betrayed my ct brothers. It is the t's job to run from their cells and kill the guards in any way. ct's will either kill the ones with guns or capture those who would surrender. (surrender by throwing guns out if they have em and crouching before the ct. surrender until lr or kill all t's for win. am I breaking any rules issueing these orders, is there any modifications that need to be made? Nevodka
This isn't exactly a game, you're telling the CT's to wait in kitchen for the T's to run in and shoot them. This just sounds like a kitchen warday.
Cave Johnson
no exception for surrendering rule?
Nevodka
This is just a premise that is bound for failure. There will be freekills on those that wish to surrender, most are likely to just rebel or hide than crouch in front of a CT, and there are no established rules on how to surrender other than "crouching before the ct," which leaves us with certain questions such as: "Do they have to freeze after crouching? Do they follow the CT crouched? How will they keep up with the CT running while they're crouching? Do they have to crouch to the CT or can they just run to him and then crouch? Is it only red is dead or can they shoot any T's not going towards them to surrender? If they're running to them first won't that end up in freekills because the CT doesn't know if they're trying to surrender or run towards them to rebel?" All of these questions considered, it is just more likely they will shoot it out instead of surrender, and even if some dowhat happens when more than two surrender, last reaction? It sounds like a very complicated, freekill bound warday.
Cave Johnson
okay kinks to work out, i figured i should clear before i issue orders.
Nevodka
I don't want to come off strong here, but no games should involve voluntarily giving T's guns. If you want to have a shoot out, just do a normal warday.
Cave Johnson
you come off strong but you're straight forward so its cool
Nipple
nevodka is right. this has fail written all over it. sorry.. i know everyone gets bored of the same old thing and wants to try something new.. but giving the t's guns is never a good idea. Zezima
Like said above, it ultimately just makes for the Ts killing the CTs, which isnt terrible if you are a T but it doesnt seem like it would work for a serious day.
