(Headband)(EG)
I want to get finally take a step in to the future and get a Headset for my comp, As right now I'm using a Webcam Mic and a pair of Dre Beats (ghetto setup). The mic tends to pick up every little sound and has annoyed me to the point where i need to move on. willing to spend a maximum of $150 but if we could keep it around $100 that would be preferred. Many thanks
creepa
Plantronic gamecom 780. I just got them for 58 bucks on amazon. You dont need to spend alot of money trust me. I been threw 1000 different headsets. From 50 to 120 dollars. These game com 780s are by far the best. They blew my steel series 5h and siberia v2 out of the water. They have 7.1 dolby surround sound which is great for movies and music and other games. For counterstrike i turn the dolby off and just use stero. TRUST ME GET THEM. There so comfortable. you can wear them for hrs, and they wont bother you at all. SOUND IS AWESOME heres the link i just got mine yesterday http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ZS5ATM/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d3_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=1BWV48WX7XT9N6676A4R&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470939031&pf_rd_i=507846

Awwik
http://ap.razerzone.com/gaming-audio/razer-carcharias/ NO! BAD! These headsets are uncomfortable and have terrible sound quality! http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/headsets/g35-surround-sound-headset I had these for years and was amazed at how comfortable and the sound quality wasnt bad. If you want avg go with creepa but this headset will rock your world.

So are the plaintronics much better? or just slightly better? To be honest, I really like the look of the siberia v2 over the 780, haha. Thanks man. I'm no audiophile, but I have a deep loathing for crackling sounds in headsets, and just need something comfy with a decent mic and good audio. EDIT: Decided to go with the Siberia V2's. I bet the surround sound is pretty cool on those 780's, but I don't think I would ever use (always watch movies on my couch), and I want to wear these at the library and stuff when studying and thought these look pretty fly for a white guy. I'll post up how I like them. Edited August 22, 2012 by Jadis
