Mr.Tin
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230408 I suggested one similar to Nevodka and he likes it except for a defect where his computer shuts off randomly. Hopefully not a problem again though. voice changer Edited July 29, 2012 by Mr.Tin

Works like a gem in Sleep or any other function though. Do recommend.

There is a backpack made specially for these huge Asus laptops and I would highly suggest it if you plan on moving it. Glass
I'm replying from my Lenovo Y580. Not an Asus, but could not recommend this laptop more. I'm leaving for college in a few weeks too, so I wanted something that could game with top performance. Its still a pretty new line of laptops, so you might have difficuly finding it listed on newegg/others besides Lenovo's website. Link to various spec-outs for Y580: http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087¤t-category-id=AC523278A4F13F27A84F5F5622D1AC7A Mine has: 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor( 2.30GHz 6MB) NVIDIA GeForce GTX660M 2GB 8.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz 15.6" FHD LED Glare Wedge 1920x1080 (full 1080 res @ 15 inches is AWESOME) 500GB 7200 rpm (faster spinning drive, but not as pricey as an SSD) Very nice metal case on top and around keyboard (which is backlit). I tried Crysis 1 and maxed out all settings at Very High with 1080 resolution and maintained 40-50 fps, runs CSS at 130+ fps with all high/very high settings with AA all the way up on highest resolution setting. Good luck searching for a laptop, hope this helps!
