Yes but a huge, resounding, no.

Yes in the fact us English have such a war torn history and we have pretty much taken on the world, some we lost some we won.

No in the essence of "modern" Britain. Where we accept anyone and everyone only to have them walk over us like were dirt.

Here is a snippit of our history which i'm very proud of. The battle for Rorke's Drift (22 January 1879) where we only had 150 soilders vs 3 to 4k Zulu's an won.

(Portrayed in the film Zulu, 1964. With a very young Michael Caine)

This is a famous scene before the last assault when "Men of Harlech" was sung (Don't know if it really happened though)

Edit: defiantly British but a north/south cross breed. Mother comes from down south (Cirencester way) and my Dad from Sheffield.

Scary thing about my dad's side is my great grandmothers maiden name was Spaven (Which is apprently a Viking surname)

Edit 2: Ofcourse yes not proud after what the olympics opening ceremony did to our country..... so much left out and bought over so basic. When the eastenders theme tune came on I was like WTF *facepalm*
