General DayZ Help!

I'm writing this for all of the people that do NOT have DayZ already installed or are having problems with the DayZ installer.

 

Step 1: Go to https://dev-heaven.net/attachments/download/18182/Six%20Updater%20v2.9.7pre1%20setup.exe

 

This will download Six Launcher/Update Directly to your computer.

 

Step 2 (Optional): http://dayzcommander.blob.core.windows.net/releases/Dotjosh.DayZCommander.Installer.msi

 

This will install DayZ Commander (I like having both on my computer, they both help you find servers for DayZ)

 

Step 3: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RAN ARMA II AND ARMA II OA IN SINGLEPLAYER (JUST LAUNCH THE GAME AND START A SINGLEPLAYER GAME, YOU MUST DO THIS)

 

Step 4: Try to join a server (HeLLsGamers servers are 1205 and 1395)

 

Step 5: If it says (Bad Version, Disconnected) Go here: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ and download the ArmA II Patch in the Green Bar at the top.

 

Step 6: Launch DayZ Commander (If you installed both) if not just open Six Launcher and make sure DayZ and ArmA 2 is up to date.
