Pilpest
Which should I pick? Background: I love to use my phone for some games, and also listen to music for long periods of time, also to be able to get my music onto my phone both cable or sync, I do not talk very much but I do tend to text a LOT. I've done my research and I've always been an Iphone fan, but the Galaxy has been somewhat interesting...
ToXiC.
galaxy s III is better imo fucking giant screen better camera FUCKING FLASH PLAYER, android is better then ios imo better apps, android market is more open then the apple app store. you can do anything on android. my iphone is jail broken and i still cant do a lot of the functions the galaxy has. also the phones memory is upgradable up to 64 gb extra so you can technically have 80gb storage. im getting my galaxy s III on friday i have the iphone 4 and after playing with the galaxy s III for almost an hour before the at&t people kicked me out of the store i can easily say i love that phone. if you dont want to listen to me wait for the iphone 5 comming out in september honestly look up reviews on both go into your local store and just play with both for as long as you can. Original Gangster
There is more games on the iPhone 4s but the battery time on it is not as great. If you want to play games for long period of time, I recommend using the Galaxy S3.
Cal45
So you're comparing a phone that was just released (Galaxy S III) to a phone that came out nearly a year ago (iPhone 4s)? Why aren't you considering the new iPhone that will be announced next month?

Jake
The galaxy 3 is a great phone from what i've heard, if your an iphone fan, i would recommend waiting to see what the new iphone will offer, considering, as others have stated, the iphone 4s is about a year old. 60Seconds
Well, multiple sources are saying that the iPhone 5 is coming out on September 12th, so I would just wait one month and get the iPhone 5. Better than being stuck with a phone that is going to be outdated when the next new Android comes out in a month. Not sure about the iPhone 4S, no point in getting it right now. 60Seconds
lolwut android just got updated to jb which galaxy III has. Yeah, not every Android can upgrade to Jelly Bean and you can't update the hardware of the phone itself.

I agree. To me personally Android beats IOS hands down. Android can be personalized more imo to fit your phone needs. Like previously stated that you want games and music and text. IOS is more strict that I have noticed. Jailbreaking voids the warranty and with android Ive bought some with the sales rep telling me how to root it (although I already knew how). And when my sister had a problem with the iPhone the cell phone provider was not allowed to fix the phone rather it needed to be sent to an Apple store to see what was the problem. But like Toxic said, play around with the phones and see which is best for you. Everyone is different and you can always change your mind. You might not like it, but I like going to the Apple Store to get my stuff fixed. I always end up getting a free new phone, and I get good service. I don't like sitting on the phone with guys from India all day long.

Theyre usually ride and dont really realize youre there until countless hours go by. Straight and simple Id rather deal with customer service from India than Apple. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba5M3fzZj14 Edited September 10, 2012 by Borritos
