My Computer build. I need to know a couple things

1) Would the mobo, heatsink, and psu all work with the rest?

2) I'm buying parts separately and building over time, prioritizing, what will i need first, second, third, fourth, etc

I know mobo should be first...

I say this to just about every build I see .. but I would suggest saving up for a 560 ti instead of a 550, the 560 is great for the price. Everything else looks good to me except maybe take out the CPU cooler unless you plan on overclocking

The CPU has a rep for overheating, one review said fan broke in 5 min... So yah I need that.

And I was told that the chosen GPU was one of the best out there.

Thanks for the feedback :)

What type of time frame are we talking on collecting said parts? - Keep in mind that the longer you take, the more likely you are run into phased out technology.

You're build looks fine except for that Raidmax PSU, replace it with a comparable Corsair or Antec.

If you'll be overclocking, you'll definitely want a more effective and reliable cooler.

The fan is just a generic that comes with every cpu it should work at the end shit happens but if your overclocking or you want to go through the trouble of installing the new fan then thats fine by me.

Also you're missing the hard drive and OS unless you got those covered I don't see much but make sure your computer has a 64 bit of windows installed or it can't take all that ram you're going to buy

I'd swap out the case for an antec or something similar. Along with the psu like rumour said.

One thing i'd look at though is the 560. You can get the toned down version of the gtx560 for $5 less than the 550ti.

Also if you're going to get an aftermarket cooler get the hyper212. Its on of the cheapest and best coolers out there.
