WhyYouNoDie?
Damn it perry now I got to convert euros. Putting 2 670's isn't a bad idea. I would put 2 680's, but you can't find those anywhere. Case: Fullsize is the way to go. If you want bigger, go for the CoolerMaster Cosmos II. Its bigger than big. CPU: i5 2500K is a good processor, and its cheap. It can over clock to 4.5 Ghz. Chips: Try these http://www.fritolay.com/assets/images/blue/lays-classic.gif Just kidding, get a decent motherboard by EVGA or something. Some name brand. I got an AsRock P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3. I can overclock it. Optical Drive (The thing you put those outdated "CD-Roms" in): Any will do, but a lot are shitty pieces of plastic that don't work then get your CDs stuck in there. If you have extra cash, get a Blu-Ray Read/Write one. If you don't and you need to save, get a Optical Drive by Sony, preferably one that can write, even if you don't think your going to pirate music. Hard Drive: 2TB is plenty, unless you are storing and making hardcore porn or something. And a SSD is a great to store Windows/Games that require fast read time for boot ups. (An SSD reads faster then a HDD, but it writes slower.) Power Supply (The thing that makes shit run): For 2 670's I would suggest 800-850 Watts of power. Corsair makes great PSU, and thats what I put in mine. Check this one out. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7195039&CatId=2534 CPU Cooler: Depends on what CPU/Motherboard you are getting. RAM: I got 12GBs in mine, bought 16GBs. The CPU cooler blocked one of my ram slots. 12 GB works fine for me anyhow. I got 16GB of good corsair memory for just under $100 (80 Euros) I made a good PC for about $1400. Here are my Specs Case: NZXT Phantom White with Red Trim and Red LED Fans MotherBoard: AsRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 HDD: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black GPU: GTX 570 Superclocked (Planning on getting 2 of these, or getting a 680) CPU: i5 2500k CPU Cooler: Don't remember PSU: Corsair 700W Optical Drive: Sony Read/Write Edited August 16, 2012 by WhyYouNoDie? WhyYouNoDie?
So Euros are only worth 80 Cents in USA, I don't think you will stay with your budget. 2 670's are $800 alone. That 647 Euros. More then half of you budget. For cooling, I would do air cooling. Just buy and install as many fans as your case can have. I've heard too many stories of water cooling failure and expensive stuff getting messed up. Your biggest problem will probably be wiring. Its quite complicated and I guessed on a lot of the wires. My computer works, so I guess I did it right.

jajolt
Do you have to have intel or is AMD fine?
AnonyHorse
If its going to be a strictly gaming pc i wouldnt settle for an amd chip especially when you're spending upwards of 1000 euros.
PerryThePlatypus
Yeah Im looking for Intel just because I heard there faster and far more reliable then AMD.
