My computer keeps going to sleep mode my pc never shuts off but my monitor says sleep mode and my screen goes black where i cant do anything. meanwhile my pc is still on. Noc2RnaLxCrU
You really dont need to restart when your monitor goes to sleep press your mouse or something if that doesn't work when your monitor goes to sleep try pressing the reset button in your computer and your should be able to go back to windows after reset. You don't have to restart all the time let me know if this one works.

Noc2RnaLxCrU
If you have to reboot the computer I would suggest it is not the monitor staying in standby, its most likely that no video signals are arriving when the computer wakes up. Perhaps your video card is not resuming?
aj4132
Go under control anal then devices and click the mouse search for awhile and there should be a checkbook saying " let this device wake up computer" or just search it on YouTube xD

TheDoctor
Hi creepa, Seems to me like when you set everything to not sleep and that, did you set anything for the monitor? Are you on Windows XP or Windows 7? If it's okay with you, add me to Steam I can help you further. Thanks.
R3AP3R
Okay, Firstoff NEVER AND I SAY NEVER PUT A PC In Sleep Mac Yes But PC NO! and when your done with it shut it down for the night i mean man keeps it cool and saves electricity man and to fix this restore your pc to either factory or before you put it into a sleep schedule. Tengauge12
You could also try when this happens.. The Power button for your computer.. Just press it.. Don't hold it in and release like you're turning it on.. Just simply press the button down and release.
