jajolt
So I have a defective AMD FX processor, newegg will not cover it since it has been over a month. I submit a warranty claim through the website. I did that Sunday. Now it's Tuesday and they havent sent me an email except for one saying Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting AMD Global Customer Care. We have created a Customer Care Support account based on the details you submitted with your service request. A separate email containing your service request reference number will follow. Thank you for choosing AMD! Weeman
"Did that Sunday" You do realize that Sunday is not a business day and they were most likely closed? Be patient but when they do respond ask for the advanced warranty where they mail you the processor before you mail them your defective one and then you have like 30 days for them to receive it or they charge you for the new one. BranHorse
With amd its better to call. Say you need a RMA and talk about how you are a long time amd user and they might give you something better.
