Puppymew Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 I don't know if this is happening to just me or to other people, but sometimes out of nowhere I will press U (Local) or O (OOC), and my camera shoots up, and I can't type, I can't open up console, I can't bring up the home menu, If I'm a Government Official my radio breaks (gets stuck on voice receive so anytime I try to talk all Government officials hear me and I can't turn it off, or where I can't talk on radio at all.) My Inventory HUD disappears (like F1 brings up hands and Physgun, but I can't see it) I can't open up any PERP menus, I have to press CTRL+ALT+Delete and open up task manager and force Garry's mod to close and restart it again. I've tried having admins/mods kicking me from the server so I don't have to open task manager and load up Garry's mod+The server, and have it where I just have to load up the server, but now that crashes Garry's mod, so I have to open up task Manager anyway, if it's not the server's problem and it's mine, any fixes you know of to fix this? I got RDM but I wasn't recording so I ripped out my Bandicam, and was recording, on my way to a call (I was SWAT) when I was replying to someone's OOC post when the glitch happened. Hopefully I didn't delete the video, and I'll see to it ASAP that I show you the video, I share a gaming computer with my brother and my other computer and two laptops are shit, one was made in the early 2000's, one has a 1.3 processor (which I'm on) and the comp has about as much memory as the first cell phone ever made, so my PERP options are limitless, but as soon as I get on I'll show you the video. Vetman Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Bump Having the same problem. There is no distinct way to recreate the bug. Whenever you press Y to type it moves your FOV up in a linear pattern. Really annoying, cause after you type, the chatbox stays open with all the previous chat visible on the left side of your screen, AND any time you press Y again, your character recreates the pattern. edit: the chatbox being open prevents you from pressing escape and returning to the menus. Even if you press the window, if you minimize garry's mod it will mess it up like that.
