AnonyHorse
What these guys said^ If its too much the blue isn't a bad drive, but if able to grab the black. Also I bought that exact drive probably about 6 months ago. Haven't had any problems. You might want to talk to them about warranty. Jake
I believe WD gives a 5 year warranty on all their hard drives. Which is awesome!
MetalLobster
If your going to be gaming, spend the extra bucks and go with the WD Black 1TB. Agreed. I used to have a WD blue 500GB because money was tight but after a year, upgraded to WD black 1TB and there is a slight performance difference. Also, my WD blue drive is running well after owning it for a couple years.
Papa John
I believe WD gives a 5 year warranty on all their hard drives. Which is awesome! Just bought a new on from them the other day, all was well until I went to format it... Douchbags ripped me off 70 GB's of space...
^TheRumor^
Just bought a new on from them the other day, all was well until I went to format it... Douchbags ripped me off 70 GB's of space... It's a marketing scheme, all HDD's regardless of manufacturer ship with less than the advertised capacity. How do they pull off such a task you say? Simple. They acknowledge 1 GB = 1000 MB when in reality, 1 GB = 1024 MB.
