Hdd Suggestions

HDD is failing and I need suggestions on what do get. Not hitachi. I currently run a hitachi and it makes loud noise for ANYTHING I TRY TO DO it's like its complaining (crunching noise)

If your going to be gaming, spend the extra bucks and go with the WD Black 1TB.

 

Agreed.

 

I used to have a WD blue 500GB because money was tight but after a year, upgraded to WD black 1TB and there is a slight performance difference. Also, my WD blue drive is running well after owning it for a couple years.

Just bought a new on from them the other day, all was well until I went to format it...

Douchbags ripped me off 70 GB's of space...

 

It's a marketing scheme, all HDD's regardless of manufacturer ship with less than the advertised capacity.

 

How do they pull off such a task you say? Simple. They acknowledge 1 GB = 1000 MB when in reality, 1 GB = 1024 MB.
