Wingless
The good thing about youtube is that regardless of how good or bad you are, there will always be thousands of videos worse than yours, so I wouldn't worry about you embarrassing yourself. RetiredTacos
When you use fraps to record, your FPS lowers to whatever you set it to in fraps. You can do up to 60fps but keep in mind your rig needs to be powerful enough to not choke when doing so. I would record at 30fps as you can't see the difference in videos. n1ckkkkk
Fraps destroys ur hdd space though i used a 180GB and it fillled up pretty quick but i was recording at 60fps
RetiredTacos
Fraps destroys ur hdd space though i used a 180GB and it fillled up pretty quick but i was recording at 60fps Yea its very demanding on your HD space. I recommend for someone with limited space to lower your resolution in game as there is no point in recording with FRAPS at a higher resolution then you plan on playing the video at. 1280x720 is 720p and ideally what you would use if you're uploading to youtube as an HD version of a video. If you plan on using regular youtube you can go even lower. The higher the resolution you play and record at with fraps, the more space and computer demand.
