Slophole
Alrighty, So ITT I am going to show how to view your FPS in games such as CS:S (any Source game really), WoW, League of Legends. Source Games (CS:S, TF2, CS:GO, Day of Defeat Source) 1. Open console in game (in a server) by pressing the "~" key 2. Input the following text into the console " net_graph 1" and hit [Enter[ You should get a debug menu in the lower right hand corner of you screen that includes your fps. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria 1. While in game hold [Ctrl] + [r] You should get a small FPS counter in the bottom center of your screen. League of Legends 1. While in game simply adjust your eyes to the upper right hand corner. It is already displayed. Fps is already displayed by default. Fraps *Video recording, Screenshots, Bench marking software ****Fraps is usable in most games, if not all games.**** 1. When running fraps look at one of the 4 corners of your screen in game, and you should see a FPS counter. - If there is nothing displayed hit the f12 key until you see your FPS indicator. you can also use F12 to move the counter to the different corners of your screen. Note: Fraps is stressful to your graphics card and can lower your FPS even when not recording. Notice the difference between the FPS when running fraps and without fraps in the img below. Fraps performance is HHD dependent. It is recommended to have a separate HHD for recording. Solid state bro. If you know of any other ways to view your FPS let me know and i can update the info. TheIceTiger
Any hl2 based game: Console > "cl_showfps 1" Is net_graph 1 not better? Or if you only want the FPS you can do that?
