Setting Up Dual Screens

Hi,

 

So I found an old monitor from a long time ago, its not hd, picture:

 

 

and my new monitor:

 

 

GPU: AMD radeon HD 6850

 

Running the new monitor on HDMI and old one on dvi (using a vga to dvi converter)

 

Soooo

 

I got the monitors set up to the extend feature, but I was using a walkthrough for a game on the old monitor and playing the game on the new one, but when I scrolled down the game minimized and stopped responding.

 

How can I configure it so it is active at all times?

Your game goes full screen on the primary monitor. While you can see and click onto your secondary monitor, this clears the focus from the first monitor to the second one; which in turns minimises the first monitor's focus (i.e. the app)

 

only way to fix this is to either

 

i) Run a software solution like ultramon to stretch the primary screen to both monitors

 

ii) run the game in windowed mode (or borderless windowed mode, a full screen variant).
