BranHorse
Own it in black. Decent and reliable. It is a 22 tho so don't expect to much noise haha.
^TheRumor^
.22's are nice, not to mention Marlin being a rock solid manufacturer.

Don't really want anything that would make me deaf even with earphone thingies on. Just something to shoot targets with but still able to kill someone if I needed to protect my family. zidian
Don't have a Marlin 22 so I can't say personally, but Ruger 10-22's are very nice. Lots of different configurations, and super durable/reliable. Marlin's do make some great guns tho, so I'm sure its a good choice as well.
sP00k
For a small shot like that, Marlins are not to bad. Not to loud, pretty decent, Light weight. Why not?
thelebman
It's a good rifle for a beginner, but I reccomend getting a Mosin Nauguat it's cheap($100 - $150) and a realiable rifle.

Sonick
^^ agreed Ive owned many Marlins. Most are super reliable. I have actually had a model 60 like this except the stock was black synthetic. They are definitely tack drivers. Pilpest
I wouldn't mind this gun, I always liked it, just I wouldn't get it from Walmart lol... However I still got my BushMasters M4A3 from when I went overseas, and my Beretta 96A1 which I love so much...
