jajolt
Everytime I join a server (generally), not if I have just started up, tf2 crashes. I don't know why. I join, I'm on for a few seconds then i get "hl2.exe has stopped working. I googled it but I got nothing except "Your hardware is shit" so Imma turn to you. SPECS: CPU: AMD FX 6200 @stock (3.8) (Stock cooling) GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6850 (Drivers are updated) RAM: 2x4gb of Corsair Vengeance RAM. MB: Asus M5A88-M (Drivers not up to date, see below) I don't have my mb drivers up to date because I used the disk, as ASUS driver installation is confusing. Thanks, jajolt EDIT: This is tf2 only, no problem in other games. Edited February 13, 2013 by jajolt
Philosopher Daniel
First try to verify the game cache, do this by right clicking on Team Fortress 2 in your library, then click properties>local files>verify integrity of game cache After its done launch the game and see if it crashes, if it does follow the steps below try to delete the game and every trace of it from your computer and download it and install it again, that's all I the help i can provide for now. digitalshot
Is this for HG servers or any Tf2 server in general?
jajolt
Is this for HG servers or any Tf2 server in general? Any tf2 server it seems, although mainly happens using direct connect via our servers page but happened when going to a favorited server (another clan's trade server).
