Captain Lemonz
So yeah my steam games are not loading, this is what it says when I try to launch all my steam games. I think it could be because of the Gmod download but my gmod download isn't downloading it just says Download starting and its been that way for 2 hours now wtf. Captain Lemonz
I just uninstalled all my steam games and Im now re installing them. CSS now works because of it so I'm sure the rest will.
bazzoka
Could have just defragged or deleted steam update files, I had the same problem and whenever I did both of them it worked.
Sonick
I have the same issue here lately. I just restart my computer and its fine
AnonyHorse
Should have restarted before you uninstall anything. Restarting usually fixes steam errors.
Sero
Don't just restart Steam, reboot your computer as well since Steam is a huge failure it perhaps detects that you're computer is as well at that point. Sounds stupid but I don't want to go in depth about why it would do like that, however just do what the guy on the internet tells you to. enigma#
Don't just restart Steam, Wouldn't hurt. reboot your computer as well since Steam is a huge failure it perhaps detects that you're computer is as well at that point. What? o.O What point is his computer at? I know people don't care about spelling 'you're' and 'your' but seriously, at least make your sentence understandable. Sounds stupid but I don't want to go in depth about why it would do like that, however just do what the guy on the internet tells you to. Rebooting is standard but Steam already gives people some troubleshooting tips (see SBPro's post) From personal experience, usually restarting Steam fixes it -> clientregistry.blob Edited February 22, 2013 by enigma#
---------
Usually restarting steam or deleting the clientregistry.blob file works...
BaconNOMicon
I get this error message from time to time - and it is totally random. Usually I just restart steam or go make a hot pocket and come back 15 minutes later and it works without any issue.
