Ever since I have been fighting the urge to right "All hail the Melon King on white boards ect." Well I finally gave in in Bio...... I also was asked to right a story in Spanish using the Imperfect tense. I wrote it whilst my partner put it through Google Translate: It reads as Follows: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful city located on the Melon Planet of Melonomania. The city was called Melonapolis, and the Melon King ruled the people, and everyone was happy. News of this Melon-happy land spread throughout the galaxy, and people flocked to Melanapolis to see this land of Melons. But alas, after many Melon years had passed, the evil pretzel army invaded the peaceful land to claim it as their own. People forgot about the Melon King, and the Melon-planet was passed into legend, and legend passed into Myth, until the Melons were forgotten. Many many years later, a unicorn was talking to the moon about dark lords and all powerful rings, when they fell into a random melon-wormhole in space, that teleported them to Melonomania. The Unicorn, having been told the story of this ancient planet as a bed-time story, immediately started eating the Pretzels and freeing the enslaved Melon-people. The Melon King ruled again and people were happy. Melonomania was restored to its former glory and Melonapolis was free. Sadly, the unicorn was later hit by a car in the New England area by three drunks driving along a road. When they tried to explain to their friends that Unicorns were real, all their friends thought they were gay, and the 3 men died of insanity later that week. ALL HAIL THE MELON KING! So yeah, that was what I did today in Spanish........ not the last bit but I just got a bit carried away.... Also, who can I talk to about putting "Devout Worshiper of Melons" Underneath my forum name - above my avatar?
