Jerm Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 so Sales Tax naturally sits at 5% Anything above that for people who run shops or want to buy things can get incredibly screwed with anything over that... and we can't threaten a mayor if he raises it to 6-10%..... Papa John Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 I don't see why the mayor shouldn't have some leniency on increasing the sales tax to fund the city, not to mention a majority of the mayors reduce everything down to 0% anyways which usually bankrupts the city or puts it very close to that point.
