Karot
hey guys building a New PC VERY soon and i was wondering, is it better to go with one beefier card such as 680 or run SLI with 660 ti's? I've heard that some people have trouble with SLI but i'm not sure. I've also heard it's better to go with one beefier card but, i want your guys opinions! Plaayer
I prefer single card solutions over SLI/Crossfire solutions. That's just me though. Keep in mind that you will possibly be running hotter, louder, and with more power consumption with the 660Ti SLI config. So, if you're going with the SLI config, unless you're going to run a custom water cooling loop, you should make sure that your case has adequate airflow. Take a look at this video. (I repeated most of what he says, but the numbers might intrigue you.)
Karot
Seems tempting, I'm already getting a really good case to make sure it has good ventilation and It is not a big deal if i get a more wattage Power supply. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that it's still only 2GB video memory rather than 4 ;/ oh well
