Driftkingjoker
have you tried joining different servers?
sharp_shooter
Did you try turning if off then on again? No? Ok time to be serious. Delete the map and gamemode from gmod and remove all traces of it ever being there, this includes any textures you may have downloaded. If at the very most delete all gmod files then reinstall the game from scratch. I had to do that a couple of times with Fallout NV. Once that is done install one addon at a time, make sure they are all disabled. Download the map (not from the workshop) from an external site and place it in the folder with all your other maps. Make sure you can run the map. Connect to a PERP server and let it download. If you receive any errors I can't help you as your game hates you. If you still cant get it to work after years of trying just play on a friends computer or reinstall windows. BUT only do those if you are desperate. You could always play a sandbox server or any of the other gmod gamemodes out there.

sharp_shooter
I'm sorry but my knowledge ends here. The only other suggestions I can give you is to either use a friends computer, talk to someone with much more experience than myself, or play something else than PERP. Hope you can get around this issue.
