BlackEyes Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 This thing called relevantknowledge. Not the worst virus for me since I really have nothing super important on my pc. But it steals info. I think I almost got rid of it from working but I can't delete the freaking thing off my pc. When I delete the folder of it, it says cannot delete rlxg.dll. Wingless Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 I'd start setting up a backup plan. All of my data is on a separate partition from my boot partition, and both are on a RAID 1. That way if my boot part goes down, or I lose a hard drive, I don't have data loss. That and monthly (or sooner) compressed copies of data I consider important to an external drive, just in case I get hit by something nasty. Worst comes to worst is to reformat. Just back up everything you want to keep on another hard drive or a flash drive. Preferably making sure the backup you keep is CLEAN. Putting infected files in a clean load of an OS is still bad. Also, be careful with storing things on flash memory. They're susceptible to EMP wipes and general crushing.
