I have that same CPU and love it. I personally won't have less than 16gb of memory but that is completely up to you. I have G.Skill Ripjaw X Series and it's been flawless. I think you can find a SSD twice the size for only about $20 more. I got my 120gb ssd at bestbuy for $99. That graphics card has very very mixed reviews. In my personal opinion it is overkill. I paid $149 for my geforce gtx 560ti and it is badass and will run any game I play on max setting with max fps on most games and never overheats or has any other issues. I actually ordered one of those monitors earlier today. It also has mixed reviews but for $109 I don't care if I have to replace it in a couple years. My 23" dell ultrasharp met my fist last week so now I am stuck using a 32" tv which sucks. Build looks pretty good but I would seriously take a second look at graphics cards and ssd's. I think you can get better quality and pay less money for those.

The 7970 is a GREAT card and will beat the GTX 670 (a card similar in price) with the latest drivers from AMD in most modern titles. From what I've seen, the 7970 also does stupidly well at overclocking.

The only thing I would personally change in that build is the SSD and maybe go down to a copy of Windows 7, but that's coming from a person who's only touched W8 while waiting at a Best Buy for a friend. Find a bigger SSD if you can. The case's rubber grommets on that case come out very easily when I was working on it, so be careful, or take them out. And, that's working with a modular power supply. ZZZ. But hiding cables was a breeze. :D Overall great build, though.
