I know it is alot, but please take the time to read these suggestions, as I feel it could really benefit our server and update it a little bit more! 1. make it so cops cannot see how fast a person is going while driving a car, and give cops a radar gun to add realism and more fun to the police job, like shown in the image found here: [spoiler=radar gun image (big image)]http://i.imgur.com/NQMREIL.jpg 2. reduce weapon sway/twitch while aiming (at least). I don't mind if it sways while you are running/walking, but while aiming it makes it kind of hard. especially when you are trying to pistol snipe someone3. fix car sounds. sometimes the engine won't make noise while driving, especially the mini cooper4. there is a slight delay when aiming weapons that has a bad effect while raiding. (ex: I have a shotgun and a lockpick equipped and I am raiding by myself. I one pick the door, quickly try to switch to my shotty to aim down the iron sights to shoot someone, but I click it too many times by accident and it doesn't register that i've clicked the right mouse button. I get shot and have to stay dead for 5 minutes5. allow mayor to use a handgun? I'm not too sure about this one since there are secret service, but there is probably people like me that don't like having secret service and would like to be alone because most of the time they just bug and or get in the way. it's nicer to be alone sometimes, but then again I guess if you want the extra protection, then you need to make some sacrifices. One thing that I heard would make this difficult is that if someone is kidnapping the mayor after killing the government officials protecting him/her, the mayor could just pull out the gun of his own and shoot the kidnapper which would sort of be unfair. Especially when the kidnapper(s) /me tie the mayor up and he failRP's to shoot the kidnapper.6. fix nexus doors. I don't know how or why this happens, but people always get stuck in nexus doors and need help out either by chairs or mods/admins7. allow any player to put gas in another players car, or just allow it for org members only. (ex: Arezk and myself were basing at suburbs and my car was at city. Arezk's car was parked outfront, but it only had around 15gallons of gas in it, and I needed to get to the hospital and back.) see the problem?8. fix when someone has a bottle in their hand, it is invisible9. make it so people can shoot through the walls and/or windows at the lake houses.10. be able to use wrenchs to fix flat tires caused by spike strips. this one I think is a really big pain in the ass when a cop puts down a spike strip to stop a criminal at country, suburbs, car dealership, etc, and you accidentally run it over, then you must run(or drive your messed up car) all the way back to city11. give police chief a desert eagle like in darkRP12. fix it to when you go to revive someone as a medic, and the dead body is near a prop or entity that it will respawn them anyway, and put them in the nearest opening. can name numerous times when there is a fugitive down whether it be in the hallways at tides/apartments, or bank when they get stuck next to the doors and cannot get revived13. Do not allow prop spawning in public. (ex: chairs, tables, lamps, etc) Yeah, we screw around alot and put chairs all around nexus, bank, pretty much the whole city, but people get stuck in chairs, get prop killed by accident, and troll with them. by trolling I mean picking them up with physguns and putting people on roofs, up in the air, in the middle of the road (that causes crashes) etc14. I don't know if you would even consider this, but to give moderators the ability to see kill logs in console. this is VERY useful when someone gets rdmed when only mods are on, but they don't know if the person that is claiming someone rdmed is telling the truth or not, if that makes sense15. make the requirement to become a police officer 24 hours like it used to be. (already suggested and can be found here: http://hellsgamers.c...-to-become-cop/)16. make 'co owner' rank for organizations. again, already suggested but I think this is a great idea. give the co owner permissions to either invite/kick someone to and from the org, nothing more & nothing less. (obviously the owner should have higher immunity then this rank)17. Bus driver? I don't know why this was taken out, but it seems like it would be a cool edition to our perp server!18. increase the amount of money you can have in your pocket at one time, or do bank transfers/checks to be able to give someone more then 50k at once. say I wanted to buy 50 shotties and 50 buckshot, but I needed to pay in 50k increments. that takes too much time, and it would be easier and nicer if you could just walk up to one of the bankers and be like 'hey, i'd like to write a check!' or 'hey, I'd like to transfer money to another account' Please take the time to read all of my suggestions, as it took me awhile to remember most of them. Plus, I think if some of these suggestions are implemented, it could really benefit our PERP server. Magic Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) In my opinion, PERP could just use a huge update. A lot of you suggestions would be good and would make the server a lot better. The only thing I would disagree with is the mayor handgun idea, no prop spawning in public. My reasoning behind that is kinda for the RP value. You don't really see a mayor walking around with a handgun, not to mention he can just call on his police force to his aid to assist him if he does not have any secret service. For the prop spawning in public, I disagree with this because sometimes it is necessary. Ex. Checkpoints, having to put a mule in the car dealer, the list will go on. And I agree with adding the bus driver job back to PERP and make it a GOLD only job, like the road crew job. I mean it will be very rare for someone to go out of their way and pay $15.00, get the job, and mass CDM. The radar gun is a nice feature as well I would like to see it implemented if possible. Some of your other suggestions are just nice little additions, but some of them are very necessary for the server. My major concern is more cars and other things. It is just another option and could make the server more fun in a way. Road crew's also a lot less dangerous to have available. I can only remember two or three people who actually drove the bus. One of em would go full speed through the city killing anyone in his path, and then kicking them when they complained. Yeah, you. Fight me. Come@mebro. Not you Magic.
