I currently have a Ducati 1199 Paginale R that I bought recently, and I love it, but I'd recommend any Ducati or a higher end Japanese bike. Any 05 or higher Gixxer is a GREAT bike. 04 and lower is carb'd and doesnt have as good fuel efficiency or throttle response. Ninjas are okay, but not nearly as well built as the Gsx-r's, CBR's or yzfr's for that matter. kawasaki is a good off road brand, but their sportsbikes are sub-par compared to the other top 4 Japanese motorcycle companies.
