DoubleG Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 I was hoping someone could help me out, havent played on this server in about a 10 months and when i tried to log in when i downloaded the last of the weapon mods my game always crashes and closes. I should add that i play on a mac (save the jokes, i dont game that much). Anyways, I used to play on this server all the time and I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to stop the game from crashing, even though it seems the server is down as of right now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Defragmenting files seems a bit complicated for me, I'm not much of a computer person (why im using a mac). Strange though, I used to be able to play on this server all the time, now whenever I get to the last weapon mod my cursor just beach balls and hl2 crashes. After following the steps in that link, whenever I connect to the server, instead of my game crashing while downloading mods it crashes when i'm "Retrieving Server Info." hl2 just closes on me.
