Weather Gone Forever?

Hello there, I have been with PERP for a while now. I remember a while ago, PERP use to have weather. The weather made the server very unique, and it was cool! I loved when there was snow and rain, and the occasional tornado, but now I miss it. Yes many complained about the lag, but some did not. I enjoyed the weather ( I had no lag) and I know many other people did. Maybe bring it back? I mean is there a possible way to fix the coding or, anything? If weather came back PERP would be lots more fun. I hope you take this into consideration, -Wepus.

weather was removed because of extensive performance issues for many people. it would cause severe fps drops for people with lower end computers. i doubt there would be some way to make the code more efficient to lag less since it is essentially just effects

I'd also suggest a client feature to enable/disable the weather, if possible. That way those who do lag because of the weather, they could simply disable it.

Not gunna lie as much as I hated rain when I was new to perp I kinda miss it :/

The main reason weather was disabled was because of the lag most experienced. Newer ways of doing things are coming out and we're patiently waiting to see how they'll shape up. If the new methods work much better than the old then things can be added back in.
