Executive Council Kigen Posted June 13, 2013 Executive Council Share Posted June 13, 2013 What the hell you talking about Minecraft Graphics? Anyway the major issue is with the map. It is not properly optimized because it was originally a beta release. But then Sgt. Sickness stopped updating the map. Thus a properly optimized version wasn't released. We are working to resolve this and get a better optimized map.
Cookie
The config he's talking about makes your textures and shaders lowered (among other things), and the result is a bunch of large pixels everywhere. Accsick
lets say i downloaded the "minecraft thingy" how would i remove it?
Arezk
It's a config, it doesn't work until you execute it in console with 'exec perp'. So to delete go back to the cfg folder you put it in (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\STEAMNAMEHERE\garrysmod\garrysmod\cfg) and delete perp.cfg <-- What it should be called unless you renamed it. And you're done. Edited June 13, 2013 by Arezk

AnonyHorse
You will constantly see frame problems in perp. Its the way it is. When you have 60+ players in a server in which each player can spawn a large number of props, all of those entities will slow down your frame rate to a snail pace. The config these peoples are talking about does seem like it would help, but if you want something to boost your fps while keeping the same look...sadly it will not happen.
