SilentGuide
Most of the new benchmarks show that haswell is ahead of course of the 3rd generation but nothing that really impresses me to move to the next platform. The new motherboards and features that come with haswell seem good and is probably worth upgrading. The z87 motherboards come with many cool new features but is it worth upgrading to for better gaming experience?
KarmaOfPain
Well depends on what you have. If you already have Sandy bridge or ivy bridge then you should be fine. All i see from Haswell is a 10% performence and lower power consumption
animeking503
Haswell isn't a major upgrade from the Ivy Bridge line. If you have a newer Sandy or Ivy bridge, I wouldn't upgrade (personally at least). I'm rocking a Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600k and it more than does what it needs. Although more RAM (12GB currently) would be nice
